1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device and browser information (IP address, device type, operating system); usage data (features used, pages viewed, session duration); log data (access times, referring URLs); and information collected via cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

If you connect brokerage accounts or financial data providers, we may receive account and holdings data through authorized APIs or integrations. We may also receive information from identity verification or fraud prevention services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide, maintain, and improve the Service; process transactions and manage your account; personalize your experience; send service-related communications; respond to inquiries and support requests; analyze usage patterns and product performance; detect, prevent, and address fraud or security issues; comply with legal and regulatory obligations; enforce our Terms of Service; and, with your consent, send marketing communications. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, we process your data based on: (a) contract performance—to deliver the Service you have subscribed to; (b) legitimate interests—to improve the Service, ensure security, and communicate with you; (c) legal obligation—to comply with applicable laws; and (d) consent—where we have obtained your express consent (e.g., for certain marketing or optional features). You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We share information with: Service providers who assist us (hosting, payment processing, analytics, customer support) under strict contractual obligations; Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) when necessary; Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not share your financial or portfolio data for third-party marketing. Our service providers are bound by data processing agreements where required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account termination, we retain data for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and for backup purposes. Financial and transactional data may be retained longer as required by applicable regulations. You may request deletion of your data subject to our legal retention requirements.

6. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), access controls, and regular security assessments. Financial services data receives heightened protection. See our Trust & Security page for more details. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your residence, including the United States.
